Privacy Policy for the Cardihaler App
Effective Date: December 18, 2025
Version: 1.0
Cardihaler App (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information in connection with your use of the Cardihaler mobile application (“App”), which provides firmware updates for Cardihaler devices.
This policy applies to users worldwide and is required for publishing on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
1. Information We Collect - Device and Connectivity Information
To operate correctly, the App accesses technical device features, including:
- Bluetooth — to communicate with the Cardihaler device for firmware updates
- Wi-Fi connectivity status — to enable downloading and transferring firmware updates
- Local storage — to temporarily store update files on the device
- Wi-Fi network name (SSID) — to ensure the Cardihaler device is on a stable network before performing updates
This information is used only in the context of maintaining a connection to the Cardihaler device and applying firmware updates. It is not used for tracking, advertising, or identifying individual users.
2. How We Use Information
We use the data described above only to:
- Enable device connectivity (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) required for firmware updates
- Store firmware images temporarily so updates can be installed
- Ensure reliable update delivery over the network
- Check Wi-Fi network name to help ensure reliable firmware update delivery
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information such as names, email addresses, location data, or identifiers. We do not use the App for advertising, analytics, or user tracking.
3. No Personal Data Collection or Sharing
The App does not collect any personal data from users and does not share any personal data with third parties.
All functionality of the App operates locally on the user’s device and in direct communication with the Cardihaler device for the purpose of performing firmware updates.
The App does not transmit personal information off the device in a way that could identify an individual user.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Collection
The Cardihaler App uses Firebase (a Google service) to help with crash reporting and basic app performance monitoring. Firebase may collect limited, anonymized data such as device type, operating system version, and crash reports. This data is used only to improve the App and is not linked to individual users.

Technical access to features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity, and local storage is used solely to enable firmware updates for the Cardihaler device and does not involve the collection of personal user information.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect data that the App temporarily stores or accesses, including encrypted connections to devices and secure handling of firmware files.
However, by using the App, you acknowledge that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.
