19-Year-Old Athlete Finds Relief from Long COVID with Cardihaler
My name is Lara, I’m 19 years old. I used to be a competitive athlete and had always maintained a very active and diverse training routine—everything from skiing, cycling, and running to handball, which was my absolute passion. I also played tennis regularly. I was always fit, athletic, and above all, healthy.
But in December 2022, after my second COVID infection, everything changed. I quickly noticed I wasn’t anywhere near as physically capable as before. By the summer, my condition had worsened significantly, and since then, I’ve been struggling with extreme fatigue, muscular and neurological issues, and persistent shortness of breath.
My biggest challenges remain my lung problems and difficulty breathing.
Since the onset of symptoms, I’ve consulted numerous doctors and tried a wide range of therapies—from oxygen tents, infusions, and electro- and laser therapy to both conventional and alternative treatments. This summer, I completed an inpatient rehab program where I learned to manage daily life with my condition. I’m currently continuing with outpatient rehab and also receiving specialized Long COVID physiotherapy from Patrick Ehrenberger at Team GSB and Humanimal .
Two weeks ago, Patrick introduced me to your device, the Cardihaler, and allowed me to test it at home.
Every time I use it, I feel that it becomes easier to breathe in and out deeply. My breathing feels calmer, the pressure on my chest eases, and I feel noticeably better. I’ve also noticed that my therapy sessions go more smoothly, and I can manage daily tasks with less effort.
Over the past two weeks, I’ve been using the Cardihaler regularly, and I’m incredibly happy—because it’s the first device in a long time that I can honestly say is really helping me—and it does so without requiring a lot of effort.
Thank you so much!
