Newsletter #35 – Change Your Habits – Change Your Life

Many people believe their destiny is written in their DNA. But consider this: a human has around 20,000 genes, while a banana has 36,000—yet no one expects a banana to solve problems, form relationships, or pursue dreams.

The truth is, it's not your genes that shape the quality of your life—it's your habits.

Your daily choices—from how you breathe, to how you move, eat, drink, and sleep—have a far greater impact on your health and happiness than your genetic code ever could. Genes may load the gun, but habits pull the trigger. When you change your habits, you change your life.

So, how do we actually change habits? Is it all about willpower?

Willpower helps, but it's not enough. You can fill your balloon with helium—set goals, make plans, envision a better future—but unless you cut the rope that's holding it to the ground, it won't rise. That rope often consists of limiting beliefs, many formed in childhood and deeply rooted in the culture we were raised in.

And this is where breathing becomes a powerful ally. By slowing the breath, we create space—space to reflect, shift perspective, and recognize the habits that may be worth changing.

We live breath by breath. Breathing is our most vital function—stop breathing, and life ends. So if we want to change how we live, it's natural to begin with how we breathe.

By simply adjusting the way you move air in and out of your lungs, you restore balance, calm your mind, and awaken your potential—one breath at a time.

Real People. Real Transformation.
